From my favorite haunts in the Northern Rockies to my backyard in Houston and points in between, these images are typically impressions or abstractions of landscapes distorted by physical processes that create surprising and fleeting patterns. My work is shaped by my early adventures as a geologist. Through this filter I observe and capture the subtle shapes and textures hidden in the details of nature’s recesses. These images are a retrospective of many of my favorite private spaces.
